In late August, the LUMETIS teams travelled to the ESA’s Cologne site for a new, decisive phase of the MultISS project: the flight instrument tests in the Columbus ground model.
Inside the Columbus laboratory, the instrument underwent a series of rigorous tests under simulated conditions, conducted by the ESA and CNES teams. These trials successfully validated the operational procedures, confirming the instrument’s
reliability.
A huge congratulations to the teams for this new success!
